This last weekend the Rodeo was in St. G! The four of us girls decided it would be super fun to go- even if we had to miss the football game for it. (Its not everyday you get to go to a rodeo right?) So we threw on our cowboy boots..(or cowgirl boots) and our skirts and short shorts, curled our hair and headed off for the night. The only thing missing was our cowboy hats...pathetic i know. but we went to Maverick to buy some and they were all gone. so we just went without them! It was my first time to a rodeo and i loved it! minus a few things- i hate when they chase the baby cows and tie them up. rude. jussssst rude. but other than that i loved the crazy bucking horses and bulls. and ESPECIALLY the little kids riding the sheep. Haha funniest thing ive ever seen! All in all, it was a lot of fun and something new to do. I guess we will have to wait till next year to go again!

rodeo weekend
its raining...no, ITS POURING
this last week we experienced thee CRAZIEST rainstorm. Sophie, Caitlyn, and I all came home from our photo class and while we were walking upstairs to our appartment it started raining- but it was still sunny outside (my favorite). When we got up to our apartment, Megan had just got out of the shower and we were watching the rain from our window. Finally i was like, Im going out there...and so we all decided to go out there. Caitlyn, at first, didnt want to get wet but after about 15 minutes she joined us and right then it started POURING. so hard that it almost hurt. but it was warm rain and so we just danced in it! People kept coming out of their appartments and driving by just watching us out in the parking lot probably thinking- what the heck are those freaks doing? but we didnt care and finally people started to come out too- IN THEIR SWIMSUITS! everyone ran over to the hot tub and pool and people were going crazy outside. It was soo much fun and two hours later, i trudged back in the house- soaked from head to toe..shivering! haha of course i had so much homework that night but the rain was so refreshing that it made my whole week! i hope we have more storms like that to come. i havent laughed that hard in a long time!
just at the beginning...when it was just raining....not pouring haha

dixie football!
this weekend was much calmer. ha MUCH! i think the only exciting thing was that we won our football game. no no, let me rephrase that, WE KILLED THEM. 35-3. We must be pretty good (ha totally kidding, the other team is probably just awful) Our game last week was SO close. we lost in over time which was a bummer for sure. But i guess we made up for it this week! other than that it was a pretty calm weekend. i took zach to golden spoon friday night and he thought it was thee greatest thing ever. it honestly was pretty good :) mmm and we went to dixie rock which is thee most AMAZING view. St. George really is gorgeous i love it and im starting to call it my home. ALMOST. haha but thats about it for now. ill update lateeeer

as miley cyrus would say...GNO
Everyone knows that when you dont have school on monday - you have to take FULL advantage of sunday night. And so we did just that. Early in the week, my roomate Jessica came up with the idea to build a fort in our family room, bring in all the matresses and having a slumber party. All in favor say I, "I!!!" So it had been a rough day- sundays are always the hardest because we all miss home and having good dinners. So we decided to make banana splits and have a slumber. Then I came up with this great idea to put pig tails in our hair, and put on our dixie shirts..and war paint hahahaa. Typical nerds. So we got all dresssed up, pulled on the matresses into the front room, danced to loud music, made banana splits, and then visited every apartment we knew people from. It was a classic slumber party and quite nerdy- but it was SOO so fun! To prove my point....
eating our banana splits... i think i got a little too excited?
jumping on our matresses...everyones mid jump hahaha
so either i hit my face and broke all my teeth, or i just got chocolate all over them. either one, but personally i think it looks hot- its the new trend.
just us taking a nerdy picture. we are good at those
i didnt mean to look so serious but im just showing off my source of drink that i live off of. flavored sparking water. i am OBSESSED

weekend full of surprises
last weekend i was lucky to have my mom and ashley and sophie come down and help me get my room put together...and ME put together. i loooved their company and it was hard to say goodbye but i was still glad they came down for the little time that they did. my good friend robyn also came down- from SUU. that was fun to see her and it seemed so natural having her there with us! it was wonderful surprises to have all the visitors in the same weekend! but you know you cant have it all good, there always has to be a little bad. of course- this is my life we are talking about. haha so one night when we just so happen to be going up a canyon to some haunted place(yeah yeah) and i get a call on the way up from zach. he told me that a huge fight had broke out in front of their apartment and some kid smashed another kids head into his windsheild...shattered it. for the most part. broke the mirror and put dents in the side. and left with a "hold on i got to talk to the police ill call you back". of course, being me, i was acting all dramatic and when i got off the phone people thought someone had died or something. anyways i lost service right when i hung up and so for about an hour i was freaking out until i got back. talked to the police till 4:30 in the morning... what an addddventure!!
anyways, zachs car got fixed. about 900 dollars later. good thing someone else is paying for it!!
hopefully this up coming weekend will be a little LESS dramatic but still fun :]
on our way up the canyon to the haunted place with robyn!!!
the smash. i wish you could see it better...but pictures never do justice.
okay you can see it a little better now...but you cant see the single lines that streched all the way across to the other side. i told zach it was my bad luck rubbing off on him...
me and robs representing our school tee's. and mine looks like ghetto tagging..hahah

i officially made the Parker Family syrup. dont let the aunt jemimah try and fool you... i didnt even realize it was there. PROMISE! haha its my roomates. we made the real stuff...and it was DELISH.
hopefully there will be more amazing meals to come...but of right now- it aint looking too promising. when i come back to visit, i expect cooking lessons.. ASAP!
our new home
So we are officially moved in...and even though it was just from across the hall- it took alot of work. We had boxes everywhere....but we spent the first week decorating and trying to get our appartment looking cute..
i guess you could say we arent very good contractors...or interior designers....maybe i should have paid more attention to what mom and dad werre doing around the house 24/7...?
our kitchen after the move...this was all kitchen supplies-with a little bit of food...but you could say we were prepared
