eat like kings

so im really regretting not learning how to cook...you would think that coming from our family i would be born a natural. LIE. NOT EVEN CLOSE. but you know what...we are working on that each day...

okay so maybe i shouldnt show you this one....im just asking for the freshman fifteen... but its really good.. peaches and whipped cream- mmmmm
our delish german pancakes. major success i should add in there. like come on- just look at it...
had to take another one... i was so proud of our masterpiece....we made four batches.....hahaha

oh you betcha we got sushi! straight from the harmons deli...
i dont know what to say about this...okay so our first sunday dinner didnt go as planned...half the spaghetti dumped down the sink...this is after putting it back into the bowl. thats why we have the five second rule though!

eating our sushi again. mmm
look mom! ive taken after your amazing cleaning skills. it helps when the tools to clean with are pink- cus it just looks so much more fun!

i officially made the Parker Family syrup. dont let the aunt jemimah try and fool you... i didnt even realize it was there. PROMISE! haha its my roomates. we made the real stuff...and it was DELISH.

hopefully there will be more amazing meals to come...but of right now- it aint looking too promising. when i come back to visit, i expect cooking lessons.. ASAP!

it sucks that you have to learn to cook instead of just having that be a skill you are born with. i wasnt born with it either... moving out certainly makes you have to learn it though. ( and appreciate all the good meals you eat at home)

i will be up for cooking lessons next time you come home. your post was so cute, it made me happy.

it was so fun to come see you and your place. i love you.

ps- i am stoked that we are the only people on your blog list!

add me to your blog list to. And don't worry when I got married- everything I could cook came from a box. It is just a matter of being able to try (and not feel too bad when you pour it down the sink!!)

I will type up some of my easiest recipes for you.

Hang in there and remember you can go a long way with Rice a Roni and Noodle Roni etc. It's a step up from the pizza pocket.

Love you- love to see all of your cute pictures.

I am still learning how to cook too! No rush! You will get it!

I ate German Pancakes in Jackson on Sunday morning...the Jacobsen's call them Hootin' Annies....and I thought of you! Glad to know that they made the blog!
And Poor man's syrup as dan murdock calls it....is much better that Aunt Jemimia's nasty crap!
