fourteen

day 14. Your favorite quote.

you know me, i can never choose just ONE. so im not going to- cus no ones making me. i have a book that i started writing down quotes in, after i saw that my cute friend chloee drews did something much similar. so my mother dear bought me a vintage little journal to put quotes in whenever i felt the need to do so. i opened it up to find a favorite and while i was re-reading them i fell in love with them all over again. so i picked a couple, they are all personal to me in a different way. i like that no matter what point, stage, or journey you are in life- there's a quote that fits just right. ENJOY.

"develop interest in life as you see it; in people, things, literature, music- the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people. forget yourself."
-henry miller.

"the past can hurt, you can either run from it, or learn from it."
-rafiki (the lion king)

"some days you'll love each other just like that. and other days you'll have to work at it.  you never see the hard days in a a photo album, but those are the days that get you from one happy snapshot to the next."
-just married.

"fall in love with your life. give yourself permission to have a magnificent obsession.  life is an amazing adventure.  have the courage to follow your passion wherever it may take you.  plead guilty and often to loving your family and friends.  if you want love, give it away, that's how it works; and where love is present life is full.  so, follow your life's loves to the end.  do whatever your heart leads you to do- but do it!"
-unknown.

"you're only here for a short visit.  don't hurry, don't worry. and be sure to stop and smell the flowers along the way."
-walter c. hagen.

"say yes to life, even though you know it may devour you."
-stephen larsen.

"all anyone wants is to be treated with respect.  to recieve respect, you have to give it. to be able to give it, you need to have it for yourself."
-kathy buckley.

I love quotes!!!
One from Elder Wirthlin's talk that I listened to today and has been in my head all day...was a favorite from his Mother.

"Come what may..and love it!!!"

That really sums up life...love you!
